OVERVIEW
Amid the rapid advancement of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a foundational technology with transformative impacts across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, finance and banking, education, transportation, environmental and natural resource management, agriculture, manufacturing, and the creative industries. The rapid evolution of AI has created unprecedented opportunities to enhance productivity, optimize decision-making and management systems, and accelerate digital transformation. At the same time, it has raised critical challenges that require ongoing research and discussion, including AI ethics, transparency, trustworthiness, data security, privacy, and the broader societal implications of AI technologies.
In response to these opportunities and challenges, academic conferences play a vital role in facilitating scholarly exchange, disseminating research findings, sharing practical experiences, and fostering collaboration among researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and government agencies. Such forums provide a unique opportunity to bridge theoretical research with real-world applications, thereby promoting innovation and supporting the development of an effective, responsible, and sustainable AI ecosystem.
Building on the success of the inaugural AIIA Conference held in 2025, organized by Nguyen Tat Thanh University in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Association, AIIA 2026 continues its mission of fostering academic excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration in Artificial Intelligence. As a continuation of this successful initiative, the conference aims to establish AIIA as an annual international forum for scientific exchange, strengthen the University's academic reputation, and promote research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration in AI.
AIIA 2026 is organized with the following objectives:
- To provide an international academic forum where researchers, faculty members, scientists, industry professionals, and policymakers can exchange research findings, share expertise, and discuss emerging trends and applications of Artificial Intelligence across diverse disciplines.
- To foster interdisciplinary research collaboration by bridging theoretical advances in AI with practical applications that address real-world challenges.
- To offer opportunities for researchers, academics, and students to disseminate their research, expand scholarly networks, and establish national and international collaborations.
- To strengthen academic excellence, broaden research partnerships, and reinforce the role of Nguyen Tat Thanh University as a leading institution in advancing Artificial Intelligence research, innovation, and applications in Vietnam.
